During what seemed like a routine wallpaper removal, we stumbled upon something truly unexpected — a hidden story from over three decades ago.
Beneath the layers, faded handwriting marked “J M — Nov 1990” appeared, alongside colourful crayon drawings, likely from a child who once called this place home. It was more than just old ink and scribbles — it was a window into a family’s past, a child’s imagination frozen in time.
Renovation often means change, but sometimes, it reconnects us to the soul of a space. At that moment, we weren’t just working on a wall — we were uncovering a memory, continuing the story of a home that’s been loved, lived in, and now, renewed.
If your walls could speak, what stories would they tell?
